The girl's team have set the bar at 2h 20m this morning (Sunday 12 oct) with a run approx 13 miles.

8am start (even before the newspaper arrived!) into Bath and once around the Bath Half course via Newbridge and home via Warminster road and the Toll Bridge.
Apparently it went well despite all moaning about lack of sleep, Hazel woken by Elliot, Laura out for dinner and a late drive home in the fog (Nigel said he drove there so it was her turn, which is only fair), and Jolene.... well we didn't get all the juicy bits but she felt better after the run!!!
Come on Guys - catch up...

Can't believe that it's 25 weeks today and we'll all be pounding the streets in Paris. Slightly scared. Today, was the longest that I have ever run for (time wise) and boy are my legs feeling it now. The thought of running that whole distance again to complete a marathon....golly gosh! Today was also a first for us three girlies of Baincinq since last time we attempted that run, Laura ended up with a black eye (see her London marathon blog). So I am hugely relieved that we didn't need to call the support crew to rescue us. Now all we need to sort out is Jolene's 'peanut bladder' (her words not mine!). Two weeks in a row Jolene......hatrick next week?! Hazel
Well donethe girls!!I have no sympathy for anyonewho runs at 8 am- your support team was in bed at the time. The thought of listening to Hazel's water bottle sloshing away at 8 am , scary. No wonder Jolene has a problem.

Yes, well done ladies, an impressive start. George and I will join you when you've stretched it out a bit.
Keep up the good work Hazey. You know we'll be coming out to Paris to support you so keep going sis. Sops xx
